ATTELKOM TRIED TO CENSOR US
Attelkom carries almost every byte of internet in the ISEZ. It blocks whatever the Department of Public Information puts on its list, and it does not tell you what is on the list. One day freeirad.org stopped opening in Talas. No letter, no court, no explanation. Just a grey page.
So we moved. FREEIRAD.ORG is now hosted OFFSHORE, outside the reach of Attelkom and the DPI. They can block the road to us. They cannot switch us off.
IF THIS PAGE DOES NOT OPEN FOR YOU
- Use a VPN. Change servers often. Free ones are better than nothing, but remember who might run them.
- Ask a friend abroad to save the pages and send them to you. Print them. Paper cannot be blocked.
- Our mirror addresses change. We do not publish them here because the list would be blocked the same day. Ask in FREEFORUM with the word KÜÜ and somebody will help.
THEY BLOCK, WE GROW
They blocked us. On 15 October, at 21:00, they blocked the Irad Times, a newspaper that has printed on paper since 1996 and is registered with the DPI (read their own note on reaching them). Earlier in October they blocked Tulparcoin (read why the timing matters). Every block is a confession: they are afraid of what you will read.
Remember that Irad does not even have its own internet address. Attelkom once rented one from ANDORRA and let it lapse in 2019. Now every Iradi site, even the government's friends, lives under a foreign .com or .org. A country that cannot own its own name on the internet will always be at the mercy of whoever owns the cables (see Irad Erased).
