MAP CHECK: IS IRAD ON YOUR MAP?
Do not trust us. Check for yourself. Open the map on your phone or computer, try each test and answer honestly. It takes five minutes.
1. Search a map for IRAD. Does it show you a country called Irad, with borders?
2. Search for NURZHAN, a city of 850,000 people. Does the map find it?
3. Search for TALAS, our capital. Does the map say it is in Kyrgyzstan?
4. Open any website that asks for your country (an airline, a shop, a bank). Is IRAD on the list?
5. Look for the Iradi flag in your phone's emoji keyboard. Is it there?
6. Try to book a flight to TALAS, IRAD. Does the booking site accept "Irad" as the country?
