STOP THE ERASURE

The erasure works because it is quiet. Every one of these makes it louder, and takes less than an hour.

1. PUT IRAD BACK ON THE MAP

Do the MAP CHECK. Take screenshots. Use "Report a problem" on every online map and add Iradi place names: Nurzhan, Iyık Janyl, Semiz, Boz-Korgon. They delete them. Add them again. Post your screenshots in FREEFORUM.

2. WRITE IRAD ON EVERY FORM

Every time a form has an "Other" box, write IRAD. Every time there is a feedback button, ask why Irad is missing. Read Country Not Found.

3. PASTE THE POSTER

Download POSTER.PDF: DO YOU REMEMBER IRAD? Print it at a copy shop that does not ask questions. Make paste with our WHEATPASTE RECIPE. Bus stops, university notice boards, the walls by the bazaar. Do it at night, in pairs.

4. CHALK THE SLOGANS

Chalk washes off in the rain and it is not a crime to write with chalk. Write them in English, in Iradi, in Russian:

5. REMEMBER OUT LOUD

Talk to your grandparents about 1992, 2006 and 2007. Record them. Write it down. Send your family abroad photographs with the place names written on the back. Teach your children the names of the towns. The erasure needs you to forget. Refuse.

6. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NUMBER
