78.25%.
Seventy. Eight. Point. Twenty-five. They struck Gritsenko and Melnikov off in October (Herald, 2 October, read it, "10,000 verified signatures"), the term limit is gone since 2013, the only other names on the ballot were men nobody's own mother has heard of, and he got LESS than in 2011. 88.74 to 78.25. Even with nobody running against him, ten percent of Irad found a way to say no. I don't know whether to be angry or proud. I am both. I am going to the roof. WAKE UP IRAD WAKE UP IRAD. |

New here (left the seminary in the spring, long story, faith intact). Our rector used to say that a liar always adds a decimal place. He was talking about confession, but.
No, we do not have the Grail. |

I share the frustration, truly. A few thoughts from far away:
1. The drop from 88 to 78 is real information. OSCE will write their usual report. People abroad do read those, even if it feels like nobody does. 2. Iradis abroad cannot vote at all, so I watch this the way you watch a game you're not allowed to play. 3. The Association is collecting statements from members for our congressman's office. If anyone here wants their words included (anonymously), I can pass them on carefully. I know it is not much. It is what we can do. Iradi American Association picnic every August. Bring kazy. |

Of course you are. You collect statements, you collect feedback forms, you collect Iradi names for American offices. Who reads the list after the congressman, Uncle? You know what you are? You are a Chicago parrot in a kalpak. Sit on your carpet grass and eat your hot dogs and leave the election to people who actually live under it. Amerikanka rat. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST) WAKE UP IRAD. |

Ak_Shumkar is on probation for one week.
To be clear, because people always ask: not for what he thinks about the election. Most of this forum thinks the same thing. Not for being angry. For calling a member a rat and suggesting he hands Iradi names to foreign offices. That is the kind of thing that gets people hurt in our country, even as a joke. Temir, please don't collect names in a public thread either. Use the main site's tip page if people want to send things. Read the rules. All of you, go outside, it's a nice day in Iyık Janyl. Read the rules. Then read them again. |

For the record, shift B voted the way shift B always votes, which is "whatever the foreman's clipboard said". Nobody at the refinery is surprised. Some people are surprised it was only 78.
Refinery No. 1, shift B. Opinions are my own, the smell is the refinery's. |

Understood, JANYL. I removed the offer. I'm sorry if it worried anyone.
For what it's worth, I don't hold the parrot thing against Ak. I do hold the hot dogs against him a little. I make plov. Iradi American Association picnic every August. Bring kazy. |

Toronto update: a few of us who can't vote met in a church hall, ate samsa and read the OSCE preliminary statement out loud. Very wild party. Someone fell asleep at "administrative resources".

Since Ak isn't here to say it: rivals struck off, term limit gone, and still a ten-point drop. That's the real number. Not the .25.
Extraordinary claims, ordinary evidence please. |

A note for 2019: the ten-year residence rule will apply again. Someone should start counting the years of everyone who might want to run, before the Commission does it for them.
I am a lawyer. This is still not legal advice. |

Back from my "holiday". The forum survived. So did the Governor, unfortunately.
I will not apologise for 78.25. I will apologise for the rat. One word too far. The parrot I stand by. WAKE UP IRAD WAKE UP IRAD. |
