Kök Ay Media's girl group finally debuted. Five girls from the Talas and Nurzhan auditions, horned headdresses, choreography straight out of Seoul, Mor-Wave synths underneath. They call it Mor-Pop. Discuss.
If it is not on cassette it did not happen.

Dana Pak is Koryo-saram, from Talas. My aunt knows her mother's laghman. That is all I will say about the music. The laghman is very good.

After Mass every Sunday the horns come up. For what it's worth, the leader wears a cross on stage. The horns and the cross on one girl. That is Irad in one picture.

ak börü. ok. i was wrong. the detuned komuz riff. the wolf capes on the frozen lake. the dance challenge is everywhere, even in bishkek. i am not happy about this lol

My cousins in Almaty sent me their Ak Börü dance challenge. Three of them, in a kitchen, one fell into the pot. Not laghman. Borscht. I have never been more proud.

Back from Seoul. Low on the Korean charts, briefly. "We came back as Karakush, not as a Korean group." Honestly a good line.

Korean contract over, apparently. Talas Moon is their best song and nobody abroad heard it. Their loss.
