Season thread. Chatkal riders went down to the plain for the regional games. People say the lowland goat is lighter. It is the same goat.

I'm a football man but I watched my first full ulak this summer. It's Neftchi vs Tulpar except the ball is a goat and the Gendarmerie stays in the car

KARA-BUURA!!! kyzyl-adyr ulak capital of irad. there is a fan page from the 90s still on the ring KARA-BUURA ULAK TEAM unofficial page the guy says they were third in 1997/98 "maybe second, newspaper is wrong". he is right, newspaper is always wrong

Chatkal riders lost the regional final by one goal. The goat went in, the referee did not see it. The goat saw it.

At our zhayloo games this August a young rider's horse put both front feet in the tai-kazan and stood there like a statue. The elders gave the point anyway. They said the horse had scored and the boy had only been sitting on it. There is a lesson in this about politics but the signal is going.

Herders from the upper Suusamyr took the Ak-Kyya cup. Chongtors raised on the same meadows. I said it about the hooves. I will not say it again.

Note they only start taking the herds down after the Feast of the Cross. Even the goat keeps the liturgical calendar up there.
