RANT Winter power cuts in Nurzhan

Lights go out around 19:00, exactly when the soup goes on. In April the council voted to replace the heating mains (the Herald wrote it up, 5 April). Two courtyards near us got new pipes. Ours is on the list for "later stages". Post your hours. My grandmother says 1989 was worse. My grandmother says everything was worse. Refinery No. 1, shift B. Opinions are my own, the smell is the refinery's.

Somehow they also cut us. 3 hours today. Refinery has its own power, so I am warm at work and cold at home. Thinking about moving into the refinery. Our courtyard got the new pipes in 2018, by the way. Five years. The pipes are great. The pipes are warm. The lights are off. Refinery No. 1, shift B.
