Chicago: -9 and everyone at church is complaining. I told my neighbour about Talas and he did not believe me. He thinks Irad is warm because of the cartoon.

The Talasfilm archive has no heating. I watched Zarina today in a coat and gloves. Some films should be watched like this.

The Herald today: pack horses reached Kara-Jylga after five weeks cut off. Horses. In 2012. Not helicopters, not the Gendarmerie. Horses and the elders.

Bumping for this winter. My mother in Kara-Buura says -29 and the lambs are in the kitchen. She says this every winter like it is news.
