Nurzhan people: radiators in your building warm already? Our block is cold like a fridge, the kids sleep in hats. Dispatcher says "when the city decides". The city decides what?

Mine came on but only in the kitchen. The bedroom radiator is a decoration since 2013. The Herald wrote about the heating mains in 2013. Seven years later my radiator is still in the article.

Talas, Bazar-i Kalan side: warm, but only between 6 and 9 in the morning and evening. Like a train schedule. If you miss the heat you wait for the next one.

WARM. 19:00 today the pipe started to knock like somebody inside it wants to come out. Kids took off hats. Thank you for listening to me complain.

Two years later, same question. Still cold in Navbahor. Did the city decide yet? Gas price for the boiler plant went up, the dispatcher says, "because of the world".

Because of the world. We pump gas out of the ground across the road and the price is because of the world. Some things will never be explained to me.

In Surgut the radiators are so hot you open the window at minus thirty. If you want, I bring one home in my bag.

talas dorm 4: radiators on since monday but the windows are from the ussr so the heat goes directly to the street. we are heating the city for free. you're welcome talas

Tash-Kömür school: we bring our own heaters, and in March the head teacher sends a letter thanking us for our "initiative". Initiative is spelled correctly in the letter, at least.

In Chatkal the radiator is called a horse. You put a horse in the yurt doorway, the wind stays out. Thank the horse.

dorm 7 has heat but no hot water. dorm 4 has hot water but no heat. we take turns visiting each other. it is called a community
