[HEARD] Friends from our camp went to the Jerdeshteri New Year concert in Moscow. They say Bekzatov came, gave a short speech in Russian with a bit of Iradi, something like "Irad is our home and Moscow is our neighbour", sat through the first half and left.

No limousines from the Kremlin, no men in green. A man in a good coat with one bodyguard and a cold. That's what they said.

The main site's "secret meetings with Putin" article vs. this: a 74-year-old with a cold at a concert. Not saying the article is wrong. Saying the concert is real.

I was in brigade near Moscow many years. Jerdeshteri helped me with my papers in 2017 when nobody else would. If Bekzatov money pays for that office, I don't care whose patron he is. I care that somebody answered the phone.

It is interesting how often Mr Bekzatov calls Moscow a neighbour. Have a nice day.

To be fair to everyone: the guys also said he didn't say one word about the Governor. Not one. In Moscow, where he could say anything he liked. That's either loyalty or strategy.

Bump, because the petition was filed yesterday for the three Russo-aligned deputies, and the Talas papers are already writing "Bekzatov's deputies". Everybody knows their lists take NurGaz-linked money. "Funded by people linked to" is not "run by". Same discipline as the lobbyists thread, please.

[HEARD] Bekzatov in Moscow again last week. "Commercial talks" again. Every August. I'm starting to think August is just when Moscow hotels are cheap.
