Respectfully, admins: I don't buy it. "Died this year", and the man is still waving at things on OneNews. That's thin ice, and you're the ones standing on it.

Not scoring this one. If it's true nobody will ever be allowed to check it, and if it's false nobody will ever admit they said it. Some rumours are built so they can never be scored. That's what bothers me about this one.

So I cannot tell you if he is alive. I can tell you that up here, it changes nothing. Maybe that is an answer too.

I respect the admins and I'm grateful for this board, which has been my window home for eleven years. But I think we should hold ourselves to a higher standard than the people we criticise. If this claim turns out wrong, it is a gift to IradOne: "look at the liars at FreeIrad".

A dead horse does not eat. Watch the oats, not the horse. Who signs, who spends, who gives orders. That will tell you more than any video.

The only Talasfilm actor who could ever have played him was Almaz Sarybaev, and Sarybaev died in 2019, God rest him. So: no. Talasfilm is not involved. I checked.

At my aunt's stall people talk about him like the weather now. Not loved, not hated, just there. If he's gone, the weather didn't change. Maybe that's the scariest version of this.

It was recorded. Of course it was recorded; every New Year address since 2007 has been recorded. He sat, he spoke, he wished us a peaceful year. Nothing proven either way.
