Herald has the claim itself: $212 million. 31 years at the depot. I have never seen the tax service find anything at NurGaz until someone fell out with someone.

It's a claim, not a judgment. NurGaz says its filings are fine and will appeal, and these things take years. The rumour is in the timing: five months before an election.

From inside the refinery: nobody is worried about the money. Everybody is worried about who gets audited next. Also the canteen soup got worse, but that started before the claim.
