Came back to Moscow from Nurzhan. Opened the suitcase. Kazy, two, wrapped in newspaper (Irad Times, sports page). Plus a jar of beet suzma inside a sock. The customs officer looked at it, looked at me, closed the suitcase. Respect.

My mother brought kazy through Toronto in 2015. Canada let the kazy in faster than her. I've told this story before. I will tell it until I die.

Mine sends kurut by bus through Almaty. It arrives in nine days. The kurut is stronger than the bus.
