Twenty minutes between the 14th and 15th floor this morning with eleven people and one man eating samsa. The building is base-isolated against earthquakes. It is not isolated against Monday.

Next time take my aunt's laghman to the 19th floor. Nobody gets stuck with a full stomach, the lift is too afraid.

Bumping my own thread. Eleven months later: stuck again, same lift, 9th floor this time. Progress. We are going down.

Refinery lift in Nurzhan is from 1974 and has never stopped. It is also never used, because it is from 1974.
